5 Smoothie Recipes To Ace Your Working Week

Here at Clean Drinks Co. we’ve gone smoothie crazy - we’ve put together a list of some awesome smoothie recipes which you can make with minimal fuss to get your day on track.  We’re not taking the credit for all of them but we definitely think you’re going to love them!

Packed with protein, flavour and a load of superfood nutrients these are great for kick starting your morning or for a boost after a great workout!

Make them vegan friendly by using plant protein instead of whey…perfect for everyone!

 

1. Peanut Butter and Fruity Protein

This is one of our favourites…we’ve probably made this one recipe more times than any of the others!  The PB and fruity goodness makes us so happy, the perfect post workout treat. 

Get your blender ready and throw in:

1 scoop vanilla protein powder

1 cup almond milk

1/2 cup frozen strawberries

1/2 cup frozen blueberries

1 tablespoon peanut butter (we use Pic’s smooth).

Blitz this bad boy up and drink!

 

2. Sweet Spinach Delight

It’s a delicious, sweet treat packed with green superfoods to start your day the right way .  For an extra boost we’ve added 2 teaspoons of our Bright & Green blend to give you nutrients, more energy and laser focus for the day ahead.

In a blender add:

Few cubes of ice

1/2 banana

1 cup almond milk

Handful of spinach

1 tablespoon of maple syrup

2 teaspoons of Bright & Green

 

3. Chocolate Protein and PB

Yes that’s right, peanut butter has made it on our list again…and we’re not apologising!  This is another smoothie which is great after a gruelling gym session - it makes us want to go to the gym just to treat ourselves afterwards!

Get that blender again…

Few cubes of ice

1 scoop of chocolate protein powder

1 banana

1 cup almond milk

1 tablespoon peanut butter

 

4. Coffee and Cinnamon Protein

This smoothie is packed with protein and caffeine…perfect for breakfast to kick start your day or a midday pick me up.  We use our Nespresso machine to make things quick but you can just as easily mix up some instant coffee if that’s all you have to hand!

Few ice cubes

1/2 banana

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1 scoop vanilla protein powder

1/2 cup almond milk

1/2 tablespoon almond butter

1 shot espresso

 

5. Blueberry Protein Smoothie

Sweet, high protein and full of kale goodness; you’ll get a kick out of this one!  The warm cinnamon taste makes this one perfect for winter and with a big boost of vitamin C from the kale

1/2 banana

1/2 cup natural low fat yoghurt

Few cubes of ice

1/2 cup frozen blueberries

1 scoop vanilla protein powder

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1/2 cup kale

To boost the nutrients in each recipe, increase your concentration and improve your energy, we recommend throwing 2 teaspoons of our Bright & Green Superfood blend into the blender.
